It will publish empirical studies as well as discussions of theoretical issues and practical implications. However, since the primary focus of the Journal is on linking theory to practice, priority will be given to studies which have a sound theoretical basis and strong methodology. Papers describing programs or curricula with weak evidence of effectiveness (such as student ratings) are discouraged. Reviews of important developments in the field will be particularly encouraged, since advances in a field can only result from a deep understanding of what has already been accomplished. The editors welcome contributions which test educational theories, in which a line of reasoning is illustrated with a series of converging experiments or http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Advances in Health Sciences Education Springer Journals
