The electrical properties of cadmium sulfide have been studied by impedance spectroscopy at room temperature, pressures from 20 to 50 GPa, and frequencies from 50 Hz to 100 kHz. The anomalies in impedance observed at ∼30–35 GPa correlate with earlier thermopower and conductivity data.
