Abstract

A general treatment of infinite dimensional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes (OUPs) is presented. Emphasis is put on their connection with ordinary Gaussian random fields, and OUPs as symmetric Markov processes. We also discuss the relation to second quantisation and Gaussian Markov random fields.
