Formation of Supramolecular Structure of Thermoplastics during Turning using Ceramic Cutting Tools

Formation of Supramolecular Structure of Thermoplastics during Turning using Ceramic Cutting Tools The efficiency of processing thermoplastic polymer materials with ceramic cutting tools is considered. A decrease in cutting force values when turning thermoplastics with a tool made of ceramic material CNT16 is established, along with the formation of a supramolecular thermoplastic structure having a high degree of homogeneity. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Springer Journals

Abstract

The efficiency of processing thermoplastic polymer materials with ceramic cutting tools is considered. A decrease in cutting force values when turning thermoplastics with a tool made of ceramic material CNT16 is established, along with the formation of a supramolecular thermoplastic structure having a high degree of homogeneity.
