This, 9th con- ference, was organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Vilnius University, and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. The work of the conference was divided into four large sections (limit theorems, random processes, statistical inference, and applications) and each of twenty-two members of the International Programme Committee organized the work of sessions by inviting two or three invited speakers in each session.
