Abstract Electrospraying was used to fabricate micro-sized droplets of various polymers using strong electric fields. For the mass production of poly (methylmethacrylate) droplets and more uniform-sized droplets than the normal electrospray process, an AC electric field was applied to the rolling collector in a normal electrospray process to provide an additional external force. The droplets were placed in an additional dispersion on the rolling collector due to the AC field conditions, resulting in the formation of smaller and more uniform-sized droplets.
