Evolution without selection: Form and function by autoevolution

Evolution without selection: Form and function by autoevolution To conclude, I'm very positive about Lloyd's book. It is not an introductory textbook, although it can be a good starting point for readers interested in the field. It is a concise encyclopedical description and analysis of vital issues in modern evolutionary theory. The semantic view framework is quite refreshing. It can help to upgrade the self- esteem of biologists who think biology compares poorly with physics. Time will tell if Lloyd's book is a major contribution to philosophy of biology. If not, it is certainly an interesting one. Frans Hubbard P.O.B. 3090 1003 AB Amsterdam The Netherlands A, Lima-de-Faria. Evolution without Selection: Form and Function by Autoevolution. Abstract

To conclude, I'm very positive about Lloyd's book. It is not an introductory textbook, although it can be a good starting point for readers interested in the field. It is a concise encyclopedical description and analysis of vital issues in modern evolutionary theory. The semantic view framework is quite refreshing.
