Estimating Stream Depletion due to a Nearby Well Pumping New expressions have been derived for stream depletion created by pumping a nearby hydraulically connected well. The solution assumes complete stream-bed penetration of the isotropic and homogeneous aquifer. Proposed expressions, which are functions of just one parameter, have been derived employing genetic algorithm on generated data. Abstract
