The composition was developed for a new high-efficiency black environmentally friendly molybdenum-containing decorative protective conversion coating on zinс-plated surfaces. The corrosion resistance of this coating was investigated. It was proven theoretically and experimentally that the new coating is comparable in corrosion resistance and protective power to popular environmentally hazardous chromate coatings. Abstract
