Samples of coal tar and pitch from Ural and Siberian coke plants are analyzed, in order to determine the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on the list compiled by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The content of the basic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in industrial samples of tar and pitch is compared.
