Correlation of Special Coke’s Properties with Heating Rate of Coal Batch The influence of the rate of batch heating on the pore structure of the special coke (rexil) formed from low-grade coal is considered. The mean pore size and thickness of the pore walls are determined for the coke. Above a critical heating rate (15°C/min), an active structure of the special coke develops. Abstract

The influence of the rate of batch heating on the pore structure of the special coke (rexil) formed from low-grade coal is considered. The mean pore size and thickness of the pore walls are determined for the coke. Above a critical heating rate (15°C/min), an active structure of the special coke develops.
