Comparative limnological research in “De Grote Rug” and model reservoirs

Comparative limnological research in “De Grote Rug” and model reservoirs The following conclusions may be drawn from the research in the Grote Rug and the butyl model reservoirs. 1. Effects due to differences in scale lie within reasonable limits. 2. The lowering of phosphate levels due to the addition of Fe2+ and Al3+ did not have the desired effect on the phytoplankton biomass in this research either. 3. The addition of iron is more effective than that of AVR. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Aquatic Ecology Springer Journals

Abstract

The following conclusions may be drawn from the research in the Grote Rug and the butyl model reservoirs. 1. Effects due to differences in scale lie within reasonable limits. 2. The lowering of phosphate levels due to the addition of Fe2+ and Al3+ did not have the desired effect on the phytoplankton biomass in this research either. 3. The addition of iron is more effective than that of AVR.
