Assessing the effectiveness of the technological system of coke stabilization. Part 2

Assessing the effectiveness of the technological system of coke stabilization. Part 2 The stabilization of coke is highly effective, no matter how the influence of its properties on the production costs of hot metal is assessed. Setting limits on the maximum effectiveness has little influence on the result. Thus, the number of stabilizing actions adopted (the number of stabilization-drum rotations) may be sharply reduced. In that case, the speed of the stabilizing drum may be low. The stabilization of coke offers untapped potential for reducing the cost of hot metal. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Coke and Chemistry Springer Journals

Abstract

The stabilization of coke is highly effective, no matter how the influence of its properties on the production costs of hot metal is assessed.
