Actinobacterial endophytes for improved crop performance Increasing numbers of endophytic bacteria are being isolated and identified revealing a rich vein of microbial interaction within a variety of crop plants. In addition, cultivation-independent studies have exposed a broader diversity, with many of the species belonging to culturable genera.
