The Low Frequency Noise Sufferers Association: The L.F.N.SA was formed in the Ll.K, early in November 1989, following a con­ ference of people affected by low frequency noise (the Hum). A newsletter is published at least once a year in order to keep members informed of developments. The Journal of Low Frequency Noise and Vibration has decided to give the Association an occasional forum in which to share its views with the professionals working with low frequency noise problems. In this issue there is a note from the Sec­ retary of the Association, followed by extracts from member's letters describing their experience and the effect on their lives, of low frequency noise.
