The ramifications of the United States Supreme Court decision on the Rowley case are far-reaching. It will impact heavily upon the manner and scope of related services that must be provided the handi- capped child by the public school. This is wh y I am responding in detail. The United States Supreme Court on June 28, 1982, rendered its decision on the Rowley case (Hendrick Hudson Central School District Board of Education, Westchester Coun- NOV. 1982 239 ty, et al., Petitioners v. Am y Rowley, by her parents and natural guardians, Clifford and Nancy Rowley, Respondents).
