Dr. Yamanaka, who had once served as chairman of the Commission, died of colon cancer last January 16, just after he had finished proofreading the galleys of his book in his hospital bed. Having consistently devoted himself to studies on small and medium business since the inception of our organization in 1938, Dr. Yamanaka stroke upon a plan for its publication in commemoration of its fortieth anniversary. Unfortunately, he was laid up with the disease in the spring of the year before last. Availing ourselves of the publication of his book, we express our sincere appreciation to you for all the guidance and support that you have http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png American Journal of Small Business SAGE
