Seismic Response of Fire-Damaged Reinforced Concrete Buildings

Seismic Response of Fire-Damaged Reinforced Concrete Buildings The constitutive laws for concrete and steel under fire environments are cast into a computer model that is combined with the algorithm for seismic response analysis of reinforced concrete buildings. Using this algorithm, a computer program has been developed, and a reinforced concrete building is taken as an example to show the applicability. Finally the effects of fire locations, fire duration, ground acceleration and axial forces on such buildings are investigated. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Advances in Structural Engineering SAGE

Abstract

The constitutive laws for concrete and steel under fire environments are cast into a computer model that is combined with the algorithm for seismic response analysis of reinforced concrete buildings. Using this algorithm, a computer program has been developed, and a reinforced concrete building is taken as an example to show the applicability. Finally the effects of fire locations, fire duration, ground acceleration and axial forces on such buildings are investigated.
