The four texts being reviewed are attempts to present in a palatable way our fundamental beliefs and knowledge to the general population of graduate students in education so that they may become at least intelligent consumers of research and possible intelligent doers of research. As a quick review of the current elementary texts in educational research would indicate, there is some disagreement on the tenets of our faith.
