Personal Perspective

Personal Perspective For most medical record administrators I suspect the answer to this question would be “No”, and initially that was my answer. Yet, while investigating the purchase of an in-house CAR (computer assisted retrieval) system consisting of a typical “microfilming equipment package” (camera, computer and retrieval terminal), I was asked if I had considered a microfilming bureau as an alternative. This article explains the bureau service and how it has, even after the first four months, proven efficient, accurate and cost-effective. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Australian Medical Record Journal SAGE
