International Health Records Newsletter

International Health Records Newsletter International Health Records Newsletter Series 5, No.1, December 1988 Edited by Barbara Anderson Editorial The 10th International Health Records Congress has come and gone; a great success from all accounts. The IFHRO Grand Council which met in conjunction with the Congress has plenty to report on present and future IFHRO activities. The new President, my Australian friend and colleague, Phyllis Watson, has agreed to help develop the Newsletter's role in communicating more IFHRO news to all members. Indeed, a start is made in this issue with reports on the recent Congress and the associated Grand Council meeting. In the future we will also be taking a look at IFHRO's standing committees, their roles and responsibilities. This includes the Publications Committee, of course. Its major responsibility is the regular production of the Newsletter. The Grand Council has agreed there should continue to be five issues per year. As Editor, it is my challenge to coordinate production overthe next four years. However, I will continue the strategy successfully employed overthe past eight or more years and delegate responsibility for compiling each issue to different members of the Publications Committee on a rotating basis. In so doing, I hope we will continue http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Australian Medical Record Journal SAGE
