Femoral Artery Branch Pseudoaneurysm Resulting From Muscle Strain Injury

Femoral Artery Branch Pseudoaneurysm Resulting From Muscle Strain Injury A 66 year old male presented with pain and swelling isolated to the right thigh after a bout of vigorous exercise on a step treadmill. We report a muscle strain injury resulting in formation of a pseudoaneurysm arising from a branch of the mid superficial femoral artery. The pseudoaneurysm was incidentally discovered during a venous ultrasound examination. Within two weeks of its finding, the pseudoaneurysm had resolved. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Journal for Vascular Ultrasound SAGE

Abstract

A 66 year old male presented with pain and swelling isolated to the right thigh after a bout of vigorous exercise on a step treadmill.
