Contributors to This Number 68 CONTRIBUTORS ALICE HOY has been Principal of the Secondary Teachers' College, Melbourne, since 1950. She graduated M.A., LL.B., Dip.Ed. from the University of Melbourne, and for many years was Senior History Mistress at the University High School. In 1925 she became Mistress of Method in History, and subsequently Senior Lecturer and Chief of Staff in the School of Education at the University of Melbourne. She has made consider­ able contributions to the teaching of the social sciences in secondary schools and to the training of secondary school teachers in Australia. DR. J. A. KEATS was appointed Senior Lecturer in Psychology in the University of Queensland in 1956. He graduated B.Sc. at the University of Adelaide in 1944, B.A. in Melbourne, 1949, and A.M., Ph.D. at Princeton, U.S.A., 1954-55. After teaching with the S.A. Education Department he was appointed statistician with the A.C.E.R., and while at Princeton was with their Testing Service. DR. JOYCE F. WYLIE is a Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Sydney. She graduated B.A., M.Ed. from Sydney, and Ph.D. from Illinois, where she did research on Karl Mannheim's educational philosophy.
