Book Review: Society and the Curriculum in Australia, the Moral Curriculum: A Sociological Analysis

Book Review: Society and the Curriculum in Australia, the Moral Curriculum: A Sociological Analysis BOOK REVIEWS Marxism as science rather than ideology. Fortunately, Harris' theoretical mis givings on this point are confined, and throughout the book his most effective and damaging penetrations of ideology trade on the distinction. Notwithstanding any of the above worries, this is an excellent book. Because of a felicitous balance between non-technical exposition and theoretical sophistication, I have found it invaluable for use as a course text book. EVERS C. W. Abstract

BOOK REVIEWS Marxism as science rather than ideology. Fortunately, Harris' theoretical mis givings on this point are confined, and throughout the book his most effective and damaging penetrations of ideology trade on the distinction.
