Announcements USASBE Meeting The United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) will hold its second biennial conference October 7-10, 1987 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The theme, "New Ventures: Creation, Support," will be presented through a variety of competitive Development, papers, workshops and symposia. Filley, Director Center for Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship University of Wisconsin 1155 Observatory Drive Madison, WI 53706 SBIDA Call for Papers The Small Business Institute Directors' Association (SBIDA) has issued a call for papers for its meeting to be held February 11-14, 1988 in San Francisco. The conference will be at the Sheraton at Fisherman's Wharf and the theme will be: Small Business-Adapting for Success in a Changing World. Papers and work­ shop proposals that address ways in which smaller firms can achieve flexibility to meet the competitive challenges of today's dynamic environment are invited.
