XIVth Congress of The International Academy of Comparative Law Bulletin XIVTH CONGRESS OF THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF COMPARATIVE LAW Athens, Greece—July 31-August 1994 The XlVth Congress of The International Academy of Compara­ tive Law was held in Athens, Greece from July 31 to August 6, 1994, at the Astir Palace Hotel in Vouliagmeni. Its organization was en­ trusted to the Hellenic Institute of Public and Foreign Law under the direction of Professor Konstantinos D. Kerameus, and attracted 800 participants from more than 40 countries, including a delegation of over 70 jurists from the United States. The 34 topics of the program, as diverse as the Academy's origi­ nal mission to facilitate comparative research in all branches of law, touched on most major legal disciplines: comparative law, civil law, civil procedure, private international law, agrarian law, commercial law, intellectual rights, labor law, air and maritime law, public inter­ national law, constitutional law, human rights, administrative law, tax law, criminal law, criminal procedure, as well as legal history and ethnology, general legal theory and legal philosophy and computers and bibliography.
