The Canadian Committee has announced that the XIII Congress of Comparative Law will be held at McGill University, Montreal, Canada from Sunday, 19 August 1990 through Saturday, 25 August 1990 (and not 1991 as reported in 35 American Journal of Comparative Law 437 (1987)). The chair of the Committee is th e Honora­ ble Claire L'Heureux-Dube, Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, Professor Paul-Andre Crepeau of McGill and Professor Pierre-Gabriel Jobin of McGill as Sec­ retary General of the Congress. The Honorary President is the Right Honorable Brian Dickson, Chief Justice of Canada. The Committee is arranging pre- and post-conference tours and will announce them in due course. The meetings of the International Academy of Comparative Law to set the agenda for the XIII Congress, called for Montreal in late August 1990, will be held at th e Faculte de Droit, Place d'Athenes, Strasbourg, France on Wednesday, 27 August 1988. Members of the Academy and comparatists generally are invited to attend the meeting to be held in the Faculty lounge on the top floor of the Faculty at 15 o'clock. Scholars wishing to submit topics should communicate their proposals before Januar y 1988 to the National Committee in their country of residence. The sugges­ tions should include a brief statement as to the desirability of discussing the topic, and should be presented in both English and French to avoid errors in translation at the Secretariat. Scholars resident in the United States should mail their proposals to Professor George A. Bermann, School of Law, Columbia University, 435 West 116th Street, New York, NY 10027, USA. Scholars resident in other regions having no na­ tional committee may send proposals directly to Secretary General Roland Drago, in care of Mme. C.
