The award recognizes FIP officers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in support of the organization’s mission to advance pharmaceutical education, science, and practice. • ASHP President Linda S. Tyler, PharmD, FASHP, on September 18 was honored as Pharmacist of the Year by the Utah Society of Health-System Pharmacists (USHP) during the organization’s annual meeting. The pharmacy society also announced that the USHP Pharmaceutical Care Practice Award has been renamed the USHP Linda S. Tyler Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award.
