INTRODUCTION This is the ninth annual Survey of American Choice-of-Law Cases, conducted a t the request of th e Conflicts Section of th e Associ­ ation of American Law Schools as a service to fellow Conflicts teach­ ers. The Survey covers cases decided between Januar y 1, 1995 and December 31, 1995. Becaus e th e purpose, scope, an d method of thi s Survey have been explained in previous years, no further explana­ tions are necessary. The reader is reminded, however, tha t th e Sur­ vey is intended to merely identify and to describe briefly, rathe r tha n to evaluate or to discuss in depth, the most important choice-of-law cases decided during th e year.
