Applied Sciences—Connecting Theories with Practice

Applied Sciences—Connecting Theories with Practice Appl. Applied sciences are so deeply entrenched in almost all aspects of our daily lives. To provide an advanced forum for scholars all over the world to discuss and communicate the cutting-edge development in this field, on behalf of the Editorial Board members, I am honored to introduce Applied Sciences, a scholarly, peer-reviewed open access journal. Among the vast research topics, this new open access journal will concentrate on engineering, applied physics, applied chemistry and biological sciences. We aim to disseminate the latest academic achievements, promote the communication between researchers, and connect theories with practice. We encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible, and there is no restriction on the length of the papers. We welcome you to Applied Sciences and invite you to contribute your papers or submit special issue proposals. We appreciate your recommendations and suggestions and hope that this journal will provide you a link to the advanced field of science. © 2011 by the authors; licensee MDPI, Basel, Switzerland.
