Call for Special Issue Papers: Integrated Strategy Approaches in Toxicology

Call for Special Issue Papers: Integrated Strategy Approaches in Toxicology APPLIED IN VITRO TOXICOLOGY Volume 7, Number 1, 2021 ª Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. DOI: 10.1089/aivt.2020.29026.cfp2 Call for Special Issue Papers: Integrated Strategy Approaches in Toxicology Deadline for Manuscript Submission: March 15, 2021 Guest Editor: Janine Ezendam; RIVM, Netherlands Applied In Vitro Toxicology is calling for original research and review man- uscripts that address the use of integrated strategy approaches to investigate and/or assess toxicological effects. This last call is addressed to scientists that integrate multiple information sources such as in vitro methodologies, computerised and in silico systems, artificial intelligence, exposure and/or kinetics modelling, systematic reviews, clinical data, etc. The integrated strategy approaches can be a combination of existing and newly generated data, a sequential testing strategy, a parallel testing battery and/or a defined approach leading to the prediction of a certain mechanism of action or toxicological effect. Finally, they can be used for in- vestigative purposes, screening purposes, safety assessment and/or to con- tribute to a more mechanistic and predictive toxicological assessment via e.g. the use of adverse outcome pathways or ontology-driven strategies. The AIVT special issue will tackle several current issues with contributions addressing a variety of topics including endocrine disruptors, nanotoxicology, skin sensitisation, ocular toxicology as http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Applied In Vitro Toxicology Mary Ann Liebert
