Although this treatment has been widely portrayed as a beauty treatment in the media, the reality is that PRP is a medical procedure, and it is not new. This article will help to dispel the myths and misconceptions surrounding this treatment and focus on what PRP is, how it works, what growth factors are and what indications PRP can be used to treat.
