Aesthetic nurses will often take before and after photographs of their patients to document their clinical practice and show the patient the extent of the aesthetic effects that have been achieved following treatment. However, to make the most of this opportunity and remain cost-effective, it is beneficial for practitioners to have guidance on what makes a good photograph, and what tools are needed for this. In this article, the author outlines the important and valuable functions of today's vast range of cameras.
