Do No Harm in medical aesthetics: an overview of the regulations and ethics In January of this year, the author presented a session on the topic Do No Harm in medical aesthetics. Considering the current importance and supremacy of ensuring best practice and patient safety, now is a relevant time to provide the background on how the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC's) (2008) code of conduct should govern aesthetic nurses' practice and provoke thought and discussion on these issues. Areas covered in the original lecture were the Hippocratic Oath and NMC code, ethics and aesthetic business and evidence-based medicine. Abstract

In January of this year, the author presented a session on the topic Do No Harm in medical aesthetics.
