Varia I n t e r n a t i o n a l S t u d y G r o u p f o r P r o b l e m s o f O c c u p a t i o n a l M e d ic in e in O p h t h a l m o l o g y In connection with the XXth International Congress of Ophthalmology in Munich in August 196(5, the 1st International Symposium on Problems of In­ dustrial Medicine in Ophthalmology took place. In the course of this symposium il was decided to form an ‘International Study Group for Problems of Occupa­ tional Medicine in Ophthalmology (Ergoplithalmology)’. The foundation of this study group was welcomed by the Concilium Ophthalmologicum Universale as well as by the Concilium of the Societas Ophthalmologica Europaea. The participants of the symposium in Munich wished to arrange further symposia when larger ophthalmological congresses are held; the next sympo­ siumwill take place in connection with the Congress of the European Ophthalmo­ logical Society in Amsterdam on June 18th, 1968.
