A short report on the experiences with the cornea-transplantations in the Leiden Clinic. Since 1939 cornea-transplantations have been performed at Leiden. From that time on thirty operations have been performed. According to Castroviejo the material can he divided into three groups as to the prognosis. Group I. Favourable cases: Maculae of the cornea lying in healthy tis­ sue but yet so dense that vision is slight. Nine cases could be classed more or less among this group.
