He is Emeritus Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology and past consultant to the Contact Lens Clinic at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Freeman is Emeritus Director of Contin- uing Medical Education at the Virginia Mason Medi- cal Center. Dr. Freeman is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine. Seattle. He interned at the Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital and did his ophthalmology residency at Barnes Hos- pital-Washington University, St. Louis. He completed an ocular biochemistry fellowship at the Retina Foun- dation, Institute of Biological and Medical Sciences, Boston, and a corneal fellowship at the Massa- chusetts Eye and Ear Informary, Boston.
