Value configuration as determinant of IT operating systems outsourcing Previous research has illustrated how systems outsourcing decisions are influenced by core competence situation, resource situation and other contingent factors. In this paper, value configuration is introduced as a determinant of systems outsourcing decisions. Survey research was applied in this research covering the largest business companies in Norway. Abstract
