Fringe benefits and employee motivation in selected banks in Delta State of Nigeria This research work begins with a compact presentation of the general background to the study. The presentation provides readers who are not familiar with the topic of this research and the value given to banking employees in relation to their fringe benefits in Nigeria. A concerted review of the related literature was conducted. Professionals in business researchers ascertained the validity of the research instruments by reading through and making corrections where necessary. The questionnaires were pre-tested and the participants commented on the items before it was finally administered to the respondents. The reliability of the research instrument was statistically tested using SPSS version 18. The data collected was analysed to answer the specific research questions and hypotheses. The analysis of data involved the use of percentages means point value, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Pearson product moment correlation.
