Connections between personality traits and work experiences The present study examined the factors that are related to burnout at the workplace. Previous studies researching the emergence of burnout mostly focused on external factors at the level of the nature of work, the workplace and institutions. Very few of them paid attention to the aspects of the individual in the sense of the individual's personality traits and subjective feelings of satisfaction with work and with life. This is why this study researched the relationship between the burnout phenomenon, work satisfaction, personality traits and quality of life. To analyse personality traits, the emotions profile index (EPI) was used, which is based on Plutchik and Kellerman's theory of emotion. Abstract
