Guest editorial Hera Oktadiana, Walanchalee Wattanacharoensil and Denis Tolkach Contemporary trends, issues and challenges in Southeast Asian tourism cities: Hera Oktadiana is based at introducing the special topic the College of Business, Law and Governance, The Co-Editors of IJTC are dedicating the Special Issue on “Contemporary trends, issues James Cook University, and challenges in Southeast Asian tourism cities” to the late Professor Philip L. Pearce of Townsville, Australia and James Cook University (Australia). Before tragically passing away, Philip proposed this Tourism Postgraduate Special Issue together with Dr Hera Oktadiana. Philip was a strong and consistent supporter Program, Trisakti School of of our journal from its outset. He was an influential leader of the International Tourism Studies Tourism, Jakarta, Association (ITSA), one of the greatest tourism scholars in an era spanning 40 years and a Indonesia. Walanchalee Wattanacharoensil is based wonderful mentor to many early researchers as well as more established academics. Thank at the Tourism and you, Philip, for your vision and encouragement.
