Ethical dilemmas of antenatal screening for Down's syndrome in primary care A fictionalised case report is used to highlight the author's experience of antenatal screening for Down's syndrome in a primary care setting. The case of a Bangladeshi woman who has a strongly positive result for a screening test for which she has not given informed consent is examined from several different ethical standpoints.
