Thomas Munro & Co.: A Family Practice Collection The Inverness architectural practice of Thomas Munro &l Co. was identified by the Scottish Survey of Architectural Practices as being unique in Scotland in that, since its establishment almost a century ago, it has remained in the same family, in the same office suite in the same building, and was still using much of its original office furniture. Abstract

The Inverness architectural practice of Thomas Munro &l Co. was identified by the Scottish Survey of Architectural Practices as being unique in Scotland in that, since its establishment almost a century ago, it has remained in the same family, in the same office suite in the same building, and was still using much of its original office furniture. Flushed with this new found fame, the grandson of the founder, who is now the principal of the practice, was persuaded to write this paper on its history.
