Notes on Contributors Masashi Hoshino studied at Hitotsubashi University in Japan and then at the University of Manchester, where he earned a PhD in English and American Studies in 2018. Currently he is teaching English language at several universities in and around Tokyo. He has also been working as an English-Japanese translator. Rebecah Pulsifer is a Field Services Coordinator with the Ohio Federation of Teachers. She is at work on a book tentatively titled Signifying Nothing: Intelligence and Intellectual Disability in Britain and Ireland, 1919–1983, which argues that mid-twentieth century authors used the social constructions of intelligence and intellectual disability to explore the nature of agency. Her scholarship has appeared or is forthcoming in journals such as Journal of Literary and Cultural Disability Studies, Journal of Modern Literature, and Studies in the Novel. Rebecca Cameron is an Associate Professor of English at DePaul University in Chicago, where she teaches twentieth-century literature, drama, and modernism. Her research focuses on modern British theatre, and she has published several essays on interwar women playwrights, suffrage drama, Noel Coward, and games in modern British drama. Yuexi Liu is a Lecturer in English Literature at Xi’an Jiaotong- Liverpool University. She holds a doctorate from Durham University.
