Front matter Journal of Social and Political Philosophy VOLUME 2 NUMBER 2 2023 EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY PRESS Journal of Social and Political Philosophy [JSPP] is a broad spectrum journal that provides a new forum in which to address the philosophical dimensions of global social and political challenges. JSPP publishes high quality material regardless of philosophical, ideological or methodological orientation. It welcomes contributions drawing on analytic, continental, critical, feminist, genealogical, realist, moralist and other approaches. It has a particular focus on constructive engagements between East Asian and Western social and political thought. It seeks to promote informed cross-cultural conversation between different approaches and traditions of social and political thought. It welcomes contributions to the history of social and political thought where these bear on issues of contemporary concern. JSPP’s scope does not extend to material dealing with empirical, public policy or day to day political issues, but does include philosophical contributions that incorporate results of social scientifi c research.
