This collabori of the Society and the Royal Commissi of Ancient and Hisrical Muments of Scotland (rcahms) highlights the availability of this key source merial as it enters the public domain. This initial li follows where Rebecca M. Bailey's Scottish Architects' Papers: a source book (Rutland Press, 1996) left off, hence the three-year period covered in this inaugural issue. A slightly broader view and definiti of the collectis has been taken than was approprie in th volume. The li includes collectis acquired by the Royal Incorpori of Architects in Scotland () which are held in the nmrs. The entries are arranged alphabetically by architect. Three archives of general intere researchers should also be noted, all of which ctain unpublished informi: the papers of the Scottish Survey of Architectural Practices (Manuscript Number: 797); the files of the Buildings of Scotland Research Unit (Manuscript Numbers: Jt)2 and 793) and the phographic negive collecti of the Property Services Agency (Accessi Number: 1993/85).
