Abstract
I n t e r n a t i o n a l i z i n g t h e C u r r i c u l u m : N a t i o n s , L a n g u a g e s , R e l i g i o n s W a i C h e e D i m o c k w o u ld like to take th is occasion to do a little dre am in g, to conjure up a curriculum that w e have not yet im p lem e nted , but that w e are actually, fu lly capable o f im p lem e ntin g. In th a t spirit, I w o u ld like to bring up three w o rds, to give a schematic (and I hope prac tical) o u tlin e o f w h a t I th in k the cu rriculu m m ig h t look like, on both the graduate and under graduate levels, if the shape o f the hum anities w ere to he w m ore closely
