She will be starting as an assistant professor of Asian American literature and culture at Emory University in 2022. Her research has appeared in Children’s Literature Association Quarterly, Journal of Asian American Studies, Oxford Literary Review, and Victorian Studies. Wenqing Kang is an associate professor of history at Cleveland State University.
