Winter 2007 Shu Kuge is a cartoonist/illustrator who works in San Francisco and Tokyo. He is currently working on three graphic novels, âYoung Bartleby at the Dead Letter Office,â âSleepers,â and âTADA and DADA.â Bruce Suttmeier is an assistant professor of Japanese literature at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He is currently working on a manuscript exploring visuality and memory in 1960s Japan.
