68 A Surrendered Life

68 A Surrendered Life I Jesus my savior and king My life and all to thee I bring I will surrender all to thee For thou art more than life to me. 2 For thou can rid my life of sin And help me every victory win So keep me in the path of right The battle of life help me fight. 3 My cross I will patiently bear And follow thee just anywhere Until the race of life is run And I shall see the setting sun. 4 When satisfied I've done my best I'll enter and take my rest And when death's angel draweth near I go with him without a fear. 5 Amidst the quite solemn gloom I'll go with him into the tomb There I shall sleep beneath the ground Until I hear the trumpet sound. 6 Then on that morn I shall arise And take my flight toward the skies I meet my savior in the air Who'll take me to the city fair.
